Interesting choice – what made you pick the black rhino?
Hi, we have been drawing pictures of puffins and using keys to identify different plants and animals. Then we found out we had loads of different missing habitats in our playing field and yard! So, now we are writing persuasive letters to our head teachers to ask them to get us the missing habitat. Next week we are learning about food chains in science. We are really enjoying our new topic! 🙂 😉

are you same times sckard of puffins
Scared of puffins? No! They are very little and much more scared of people than we could ever be of them. Some of the team went out to do seabird ringing and tagging this weekend in the gannet colony – I think they are a bit frightening as they have very big beaks and can be aggressive when they have a nest
Claire do you know the sun starts food chains
I did know that – we need the sun to provide energy in food chains. Can you name the other stages of the food chain?
Sorry Clair,
I had to finish my Rwandan story in this lesson 🙁
Felicity
That’s ok – looks like your school has done lots of work on the puffins and I really loved reading your letters to the head teacher
Did you like my map of the school playing field? Felicity
Hi Felicity – I definitely did! I am going to put them all up on the website soon, things have been very busy in the office with T.A.G. but I should have more time this week to do that
YAY!!!!!! Thanks Claire! Quick question, ‘What is your favorite animal?’ because my favorite is a horse. I go riding at a riding stables I used to ride a pony called Pebbles but recently I’ve learnt to canter (the second fastest gait) and Pebbles had an operation on his leg so he can’t canter so I’ve been riding a pony called Mable she is not stubborn unlike Pebbles but she is hurt and on stall rest 🙁 so I’m riding another stubborn pony called Teddy, I just hope Mable is OK for my next lesson! 😉 🙂 I go riding at Broadveiw riding school in Bestwood.
Felicity
Sounds like a busy stables! I really love donkeys actually but my favourite animal is probably a kingfisher as they’re so bright you can always tell what they are and just so happens that I’ve always seen them before I have some good luck
