Shags are long-lived birds, that breed around our coastline.  At this time of year, the birds have paired, built their nests and are laying eggs.  You can see our special Shag sitting on her nest on Jethou Island.  Most Shags will lay three to four eggs, which should hatch in 30 - 31 days time.  So far we have seen three eggs in our nest but perhaps you can see more?
